New Delhi: Yet another confrontation between Anupam Kher and Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) while the director of Kher’s upcoming film; ‘Buddha Stuck In a Traffic Jam’ alleged that the university blocked the screening of the movie because it stared Anupam Kher who has been a sharp critic of JNU and Kanhaiya Kumar. 
JNU has sharply reacted to these allegations claiming that it was merely a scheduling problem.

The senior actor Anupam Kher said the film is based on the life in a campus like JNU. "Cinema is cinema. It is beyond political boundaries and ideologies.”
The movie is directed by Vivek Agnihotri which stars Arunoday Singh, Mahi Gill and Pallavi Joshi besides Anupam Kher.
Recently at an event in Kolkata, Kher had attacked JNU and its student’s union president Kanhaiya Kumar for allegedly raising "anti-national" slogans in the JNU campus.
