Fresh non-bailable warrants against Mallya

Erramanzil: Fresh non-bailable warrants have been issued against Vijay Mallya and CFO of the now defunct Kingfisher airlines in a cheque bounce case.
Five non-bailable warrants were issued by a magistrate court Erramanzil judge Ranjoji on Monday against Vijay Mallya and KFA CFO. The police have been asked to produce Ranjoji and Mallya by 29 March 2016.
A Hyderabad court had earlier issued a non-bailable warrant against Mallya after he failed to appear before the court in a cheque dishonour case amounting to Rs 50 lakh.
GMR Hyderabad International Airport Ltd, which manages Hyderabad's Rajiv Gandhi International Airport, had filed a petition in the court asking for Vijay Mallya's prosecution on account of defaulting on payments and cheating them by allegedly issuing cheques that later bounced.
