Crude bombs recovered near Indo-Bangla border

Kolkata: Nearly 25-30 crude bombs were recovered from in a locality under Raghunathganj police station area of Murshidabad district. The area is near the India-Bangladesh border, making it a security scare for the local authorities.
The bombs were recovered from a litchi orchard during a joint search operation which was carried out by central forces and the district police.

The bombs were stashed in two ‘Vanaspati’ containers. No arrests have been made yet. The orchard owner is being questioned. He has, however, feigned ignorance.
