New Delhi: On Saturday a Delhi Court granted bail to former Delhi University professor S.A.R. Geelani, who was arrested on charges of sedition for allegedly organising an event at the Press Club to mark the death anniversary of Parliament attack convict Afzal Guru. 
The court had earlier reserved its order on Geelani.
A magisterial court had on February 19 dismissed the bail plea of Geelani, who was arrested on February 16.

The police had claimed to have registered the FIR taking sue motto cognisance of media clips of the incident.
After the FIR was registration, the police even questioned DU professor Ali Javed, a Press Club member who had booked the hall for the event, for two days.

But where as an innocent /fallen to cicumstantial acts/nationalists/ while blowers/legitimate tax payers and gotup cases revistered by anti socials/politicians/anti nationals are languishing in jail for justice and many innocents cases are pending for years for getting juctice it is irony these anti nationals/anti socials/scansters/murderers gets bail and d cases not decided for decades. Do we need sucBh a judicial system. A wider debate in restructuring judiciary is the need of hour
