Mumbai: Raj Thackeray on Tuesday threatened north Indians living in Maharashtra on the occasion of Holi. Amidst the water crisis that prevails in many districts of the state, Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) chief has threatened north Indians that if they use water to play Holi, they would be beaten up.
The MNS supremo asked party volunteers to request north Indians to not waste water with folded hands and if they do not listen beat them up.
This is Raj Thackeray’s second rant in a week.
Reacting sharply to Thackeray’s threat, Janta Dal United (JDU) leader KC Tyagi called Thackeray a terrorist and said that these statements can be seen to promote the party in the upcoming municipal corporation elections that are due in Maharashtra.
