The wait is over for the candidates who had appeared for IIT (Indian Institute of Technology) Madras JAM (Joint Admission Test) 2016 entrance exam on February 7. IIT have conducted the exam and it is all set to announce its results. IIT every year conducts JAM entrance exam for selecting the eligible candidates and allotting them for joining in M.Sc., joint MSc.-PhD Dual Drgree, MSc.-M.Tech, MSc-MS etc. 

Candidates who had appeared for the exam conducted by IIT can pursue higher studies in IITs and IISc.

Steps to download IIT Madras JAM 2016 Result:

STEP 1. Visit the official website jam.iitm.ac.in/.
STEP 2. Enter your registration number and other required details.
STEP 3. Click on the SUBMIT button.
STEP 4. The result will be displayed on the screen.
STEP 5. You can save, download and take a print out of your JAM results as well as your scorecard. 

The candidates can download their IIT JAM 2016 scorecard from March 30 to July 31.
In the JAM 2016 there were seven test papers and it was a computer based online exam. The exam was held for a duration of three hours. There were 60 questions carrying 100 marks in the paper. The entire paper was divided into three sections, A, B and C. All sections were compulsory.
