Indigo Airlines release statement about bomb scare

Chennai: Indigo Airlines had received a call at their Chenni call centre Wednesday morning at about 11:13am with bomb threats pertaining to several of their aircrafts.
Indogo has gone on record saying that as soon as they received the call they had to put all of their agencies on the alert. Their security agencies went on alert following all prescribed security protocols. Their statement, however, has not clarified which flights had received the threats.
The police have said that at least ten flights had received these threats and every one of those flights had to be thoroughly screened after being moved to an isolation bay.

One of the threats was pertaining to a flight that was coming in to Chennai from Jammu via Srinagar on Wednesday afternoon. It was put into the isolation bay in Indira Gandhi International Airport where it remained for the rest of the day.
