NEW DELHI: A day after returned home from ‘leave of absence’, Congress Vice-President Rahul Gandhi is expected to meet farmers on Friday evening before his mega rally on 19th April.
Rahul will lead the Kisan rally against Land Acquisition Amendment Bill and is likely to attend the meet.
Congress would intensify its agitation on the land bill issue in the farmer's rally on April 19, said party spokesperson Randeep Surjewala, adding “Congress will carry this fight vigorously at the Ram Lila grounds in farmer's rally.”
The 44-year-old Congress Vice-President on Thursday reached Delhi on a Thai Airways flight from Bangkok.
Congress Vice-President had been on a leave of absence since the Parliament's budget session started on February 23 but it is still unknown where Gandhi actually spent his holiday.
