New Delhi: The word ‘anti-national’ and ‘sedition’ has found a new address in ‘Google Maps’. It is really surprising to find what these words led to when searched in Google map.

‘Google Map’ directs users to Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) campus in New Delhi when one searches for terms such as ‘anti-national’ or ‘sedition’. Even though the blunder seems to be completely innocuous, the varsity is bound to be furious by this gaffe by the world’s largest search engine.

Responding to the technical ‘glitch’, Pawan Duggal, Cyber Law Expert on Google Maps said, “It’s a mistake of computer networks, unintentional blunder.”

The story JNU and ‘anti-national ‘began in the month of February when JNU Students’ Union President Kanhaiya Kumar and two other students Umar Khalid and Anirban Bhattacharya were present at an event on the campus on February 9 against the hanging of Parliament attack convict Afzal Guru when anti-national slogans were allegedly raised.

As off now all the three are out on bail.
