Telangana CM KCR backs demand for HCU VC's removal

Hyderabad: Telangana CM Kalvakuntla Chandrashekar Rao on Saturday said that he will take up the issue of removal of Hyderabad University Vice Chancellor Appa Rao with the Prime Minister. CM Rao made this statement in the Telangana Assembly. 
Considering the fact that Hyderabad University VC Appa Rao has been in the ire of the protesting students for a few days, CM has said that he will be speaking to the University students to know in detail about issues between the students and Vice Chancellor.

Since the protest against Hyderabad University started in January, it is after two months that Appa Rao has returned to the University and resumed the work. 
According to reports, Telangana Police was accused for creating chaos in the Hyderabad University on March 22, causing inner fight between students, protesters and police. But finally, CM Rao has said that he will be taking up the issue with the Prime Minster.
