New Delhi: The Uttar Pradesh education board had declared the Uttar Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (UPTET) 2016 results which was held on 2 Feb. The wait of aspiring candidates who are waiting for this results have come to an end as the UPTET result has been published on 27 March 2016. Candidates can check their results on the website.
UPTET Results 2016:
UPTET 2016 exam eligibility certificate is valid for 3 years only. If candidates want to improve score then candidates may apply for the uptet exam anytime. There is no restrictions on no. of attempts. The certificate will be awarded to only those candidates who qualify the uptet exam & time period will be calculated from the date of result declaration.
Earlier the education board decided to declare the result in the last week of February 2016. But back then it was not declared.
Candidates can check their results for Teacher eligibility Test merit list with the help of the following steps:
1. Visit the official website of UPTET,
2. Click on the link ‘UPTET 2016 Results’
3. Enter your Roll number & press proceed button.
4.The results will be displayed on the screen.
5. Check the result along with merit list and Save it for further reference.
UPTET results 2016:
The annual UPTET qualifies candidates to teach 1 to 5 Classes and upper primary 6 to 8 Classes in any gov. school and in participating in privately operated schools in Uttar Pradesh. Aspirants can attempt paper 1 to teach primary classes, paper 2 to teach upper primary classes or for both to be able to teach primary and upper primary
Over 9 lakh students appeared in this eligibility test which was conducted on February 2 at 1,128 centres. The candidates qualifying UP TET will be eligible to teach primary (Classes 1 to 5) and upper primary (Classes 6 to 8) in any government school and in participating in privately operated schools in Uttar Pradesh.
The candidates can attempt paper 1 to teach primary classes, paper 2 to teach upper primary classes or both to be eligible to teach both primary and upper primary. The UP TET certification is valid for a period of five years; however interested candidates can reappear anytime.
For the primary level 2,58,372 candidates registered for the primary level out of which 2,37,620 candidates appeared for the exam and 59,062 qualified it.
6,71,796 candidates registered for the upper primary level out of which 6,22,437 appeared for it and 87,353 qualified it.
