New Delhi: Government has suggested new drafts on dance bars in the state. The new set of etiquettes formulated by the government if not followed can land a person in jail or a fine of Rs. 50,000. The fines will be imposed if anyone touches the performers during or showers money on them.
The government has previously advised the bar owners to provide identity cards to the bar dancers and arrange for their pick up and drops during odd hours.
The government has instructed the installation of CCTV cameras inside and outside the bars. This is done to ensure that certain standards are maintained inside the dance bars and this is not lewd to the general public.
