CRPF brave dies on duty, returns home in 'plastic bag'

Bengaluru: Family members of a Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) jawan who died in Chhattisgarh, whose body was brought back home in a decomposing state, are angry and hurt at the disrespect shown to the soldier.
What is shocking is that the body of the CRPF jawan returned in an unidentified state, without any clothing. His body was delivered to his family not in a coffin but in a plastic bag. No embalming procedure was adopted to preserve the body.
The jawan’s wife has expressed grief at the disrespect shown to her husband claiming that had it been a high ranking army man, the case would have been different. When the body reached home his kin were shocked by foul odour emanating from decomposed body. Even the face of the CRPF jawan's face was unrecognisable due to decay.
This jawan was killed in an attack by the Maoist that took place on Wednesday in a landmine attack during patrol in Chhattisgarh jungle. Along with him six more jawans were killed.
