New Delhi: A 33-year old Delhi-based businesswoman was allegedly raped by a man who met her over lunch to discuss business proceedings at a hotel in Delhi's Connaught Place area on Friday afternoon. 
On Friday evening this incident cropped up when the rape victim called up the police and reported the matter. 
The woman is a resident of south Delhi's Defence Colony who owns a business enterprise of her own. 
According to the women, the man was from Chandigarh and they had met earlier. He allegedly spiked her drinks with anodyne and took her to a room in the hotel, where he raped her.
When the women gained the accused had already left the place. 
A case under Section 376 (rape) was registered by the police; the officer said that they have taken up all effective measures to trace the accused.
