SRINAGAR: The situation in the valley remains tense as separatist leader Yasin Malik and Arya Samaj leader Swami Agnivesh were detained on Saturday while marching to Narbal where one young boy was killed during clashes between security forces and protesters. Malik was on a 30-hour long hunger strike against the separate township for the Kashmiri Pandits in the valley.
Meanwhile, Swami Agnivesh joined Malik in his hunger strike and shared stage with an anti-national and was marching along with the separatist leader.
Speaking to NewsX, Malik slammed the Mufti government and blamed the armed forced for the death of a youth in protests in Narbal.
The situation turned ugly after clashes erupted between security forces and protesters in which a youth was killed and two others injured.
