Pathankot attack

New Delhi: Pakistan Joint Investigation Team (JIT) on Monday said the January 2 Pathankot attack was staged by India to defame Pakistan.
According to reports, Pakistan media quoted a member of JIT who had last week visited Pathankot airbase and said that the attack was nothing but a viscous propaganda against Pakistan as Indian authorities did not have any evidence to back their claims.

As per Pakistan media reports, it seemed like someone from the Pakistan JIT had spoken to them and planted these stories. It also trying to set the agenda for the Pakistan JIT in terms of the communication which they are going to have with India.
India had blamed Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM) chief Masood Azhar for plotting the carnage.
As of now, there has been no official communication between India and Pakistan with regard to JIT's assessment on this entire investigation, but the report in a Pakistan daily said that JIT will submit its report on the attack to Pakistan Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif in a few days.
In the meanwhile, sources within the Indian ministry said that India will rely on what Pakistan’s National Security Advisor will tell his Indian counterpart and react accordingly.
But these stories that are allegedly being planted goes on to show a certain tone and a line which has been taken by Pak’s JIT and if these reports are to be believed, it seems like the investigation in the Pathankot attack will be going the same way as the 26/11 attacks.
