Youth commits suicide by jumping in front of the metro

New Delhi: A youth in his late 20’s have committed suicide by jumping in front of an oncoming train at the Rohini metro station in Delhi on Wednesday morning.

The incident effected train services for some time. The metro is yet to come up with their official release although there was post streaming in. The dead man has not been identified yet.

DCP Mani said that the man died at the spot as he was hit by the metro moving towards Rithala.

This is not the first incident that has taken place in the metro premises. There have been measures by the metro staff to curb such kind of incidents.

Recently, on March 20th a 24 year old youth committed suicide by jumping in front of a Metro train at the MG Road Metro station in Gurgaon. It was believed that the man was suffering from depression.
