The CBSE (Central Board of Secondary Education) conducted the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) on February 21 this year. CBSE had announced that the results would be declared on April 6. However, the results haven’t yet been declared.

According to latest reports CBSE may announce CTET 2016 results anytime now with a possibility of declaring it today on its website CBSE CTET

There are rumours that CTET Result will release in end of May 2016. So students are requested to check the website regularly.

It is really surprising to see that the Board has not released answer keys either for the exam and it’s been more than six weeks since CTET 2016 was held. Normally, the Board avails answer keys within 1 week and the results are announced within a month followed by an early notice to candidates.

Except a few districts in Haryana, the test was held all across the country. The exam was cancelled due to Jat agitation row that took place during that time. Regarding the exam that was cancelled in Haryana, no notification has been made till now. Until the Board clarifies its take on the exam situation in Haryana, CTET Feb 2016 result seems to be delayed.

In the events unfolding, it seems likely that CTET result 2016 may be delayed to further dates. And since CBSE officials itself have not said anything about the matter, it can’t be confirmed when the results will be declared.

Qualifying Marks: A person who scores 60% or more in CTET is declared as qualified and hence can participate in various recruitment drives by government for teaching jobs.

CTET Results 2016 Declared soon

Validity: A candidate who holds the qualifying certificate for CTET, can use it for 7 years maximum from the date the result is declared. The rule is applicable to all categories.

The Central Board of Secondary Education conducts CTET twice a year, once in February and once in September, and is taken to ensure that persons recruited as teachers possess the essential aptitude and ability to meet the challenges of teaching at Elementary, Secondary and Senior Secondary levels.

It is compulsory to qualify CTET to become a teacher in any school recognised by CBSE.
