Rajnath Singh promises development in Assam

Chenga (Assam): Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh on Saturday assured the residents of Assam that all-round development will be delivered in the state if the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is voted to power.
He further said the BJP-led NDA government will seal the Bangladesh-Assam border in order to bring down the number of migrants from the neighbouring country. Singh was addressing a rally at Na-gaon under the Chenga legislative constituency of Barpeta district.
The Home Minister also threw light on BJP's plan for Assam. He reiterated the need to eliminate poverty and unemployment in order to solve the problems plaguing the State. He also stated that bank loans will be provided to educated unemployed youth to generate self-employment.
The state will vote for the second phase of assembly polls on April 11 and the results will be announced on May 19.
He also accused the Congress of shedding crocodile tears over the people of the State, stating said that nothing has been done by the ruling party to find permanent solutions to the burning problems of the State despite being in power for 15 years.
