New Delhi: Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), in its press conference on Saturday, claimed that Ved Prakash, who was detained for hurling a shoe at Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal , was in touch with a senior Delhi Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader and that the police should look into his call records.

Delhi Culture Minister Kapil Mishra demanded a strict probe into the call details of Ved Prakash as he called the BJP leader right before throwing the shoe at the Delhi CM. However, Mishra refused to disclose any details of the BJP leader.

Sources reveal that the party workers present in the press conference where the incident took place, scrolled the phone of Ved Prakash and thus workers concluded that BJP helmed the conspiracy to attack Delhi CM.

Reacting to the incident, BJP Delhi unit president Satish Upadhyay said, “That Kejriwal must realise the anguish of people against the even odd scheme.”
