New Delhi: Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Tuesday wrote a letter to Prime Minister Narendra Modi praising the Centre’s move to supply over five lakh litres to the Latur, one of the most severely drought-affected districts.

Despite facing supply shortage of water in Delhi, the AAP chief said the residents of Delhi will be more than willing to help Latur in one of their worst times.
He also tweeted to his followers on Twitter. “Severe water crisis in Latur. We all should help. Are all Delhiites ready to save some water daily to send it for our people in Latur?” The Water Minister Kapil Mishra responded by saying, “DJB is ready sir. We can save water and send it to our brothers and sisters in Latur.”
