New Delhi: Following the murder of National Investigating Agency (NIA) officer Tanzil Ahmed probing terror cases related to Indian Mujahideen (IM), his wife Farzana, too, passed away on Wednesday in Delhi’s All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS).
Tanzil Ahmed and his wife, were attacked on April 3 by motorcycle-borne assailants who also wounded his wife when they were returning home from a wedding near UP’s Bijnor town.
Earlier, on Wednesday, Reyan and Junaid, two of the three accused of NIA officer Tanzil Ahmed, had said that the motive behind the murder was not known to them, but at the same time alleged that Ahmed’s behaviour towards them was what ticked them off. The accused have been placed in UP police’s custody.
