Mumbai: Bollywood King Shah Rukh Khan has jumped into the Amrapali controversy in support of Team India’s skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni. SRK was of the view that brand ambassadors alone are not responsible for the quality of a product they endorse, and that government agencies must be careful as well.
Indian team Skipper MS Dhoni has been facing fire on social media by residents of the Amprapali housing project angry over the incomplete work in the residential complex.
Backing captain 'cool' Dhoni, Amrapali group on Wednesday said that Dhoni had not charged his endorsement fees since the past two years.
MS Dhoni had earlier issued a statement saying, “At times you have expectation levels which are not met; it is something that keeps on happening. We will see what can be done and get in touch with the Amrapali people.” Dhoni also said it has become difficult for the builders in the current economic scenario.
