Srinagar: Days after the NIT controversy, students on Wednesday protested at Jantar Mantar in the national capital.
The NIT campus in Srinagar was locked down for several days following clashes between Kashmiri and non-Kashmiri students where anti-India slogans were raised when India lost to the West Indies in the T20 cricket World Cup semi-final game.
The protesting students have been demanding answers from the HRD Ministry on ending the stalemate situation which is still prevailing in the campus.
Nearly a week ago, the HRD Ministry had sent a team of two officials to douse the situation and take stock of what actually happened.
Speaking to NewsX, one of the protesting students said that they wanted NIT to be shifted elsewhere.
