NEW DELHI: A day after he apologised in Parliament over racist comment against Congress President Sonia Gandhi, Union Minister Giriraj Singh on Tuesday reportedly broke down after being pulled up by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in the Parliamentary meet.
Meanwhile, Giriraj Singh denied the report of meeting PM Modi over his remarks on Sonia Gandhi and breaking down.

Congress had demanded his resignation and said that PM Modi must make a statement regarding it in the House.
Congress leader Jyotiraditya Scindia raised the issue and said, “We do not want only apology, but the minister should resign and the Prime Minister Narendra Modi should also apologise for the statement.”
Union Minister Giriraj Singh had made a racist comment on Congress President Sonia Gandhi, claiming “If Rajiv Gandhi had married a Nigerian then would congress have accepted her as a President?”
