Varanasi: An appalling scene erupted on the walls of Varanasi today when posters of Keshav Prasad Maurya, BJP UP Chief, caste in the role of Krishna, depicted certain political rivals as the Kauravas disrobing Draupadi who is depicted in the poster as Uttar Pradesh.
Keshav Prasad Maurya, BJP UP Chief, is facing criticism after his face was photoshopped upon the image of lord Krishna saving Draupadi from the hands of the Kauravas. In the poster, Draupadi has been depicted as Uttar Pradesh while the role of the Kauravas has been designated to BJP's political rivals including Rahul Gandhi, Mayawati, Akhilesh Yadav, and Owaisi.
Asked about this political misdemeanour which might soon catch the ire of the Election Commission, a BJP member stated that public sentiment was not going to be harmed through this picture. The BJP member also stressed that women in the country were being subjected to lots of atrocities.
