Dehradun: The Uttarakhand High Court on Wednesday pulled up the Centre saying, “Don’t do anything to provoke us.” This comes at a time when the Centre submission is due for tomorrow.
The High Court said that they wanted the Centre to give a submission that there would be no change as far as the ‘status quo’ was concerned, but the centre has refused to give the submission.
The Uttarakhand High Court which is hearing this entire matter said that as far as they are concerned they expect that nothing will be changed. The Court said, “Don’t do anything to provoke us; by tomorrow 2 pm give your submission and it will be only after that whatever orders are concerned would come out.”
The matter of President’s rule in the state plunged the government in a crisis that is currently being argued in courts. Earlier it was expected that a floor test could also happen, however that was put off then by the Court.
