DMK holds Jayalalithaa responsible for rally deaths

Tamil Nadu: Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK), on Thursday, blamed All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (AIADMK) chief Jayalalithaa for the deaths, most likely due to sunstroke, at her rally on Wednesday.
The two bodies were identified as Pachiannan, 55, and Periyasamy, 62.
DMK also said that the party will approach the human rights activists on the matter and will also take the Tamil Nadu CM to court.
DMK leader MK Stalin had earlier slammed her for holding election meetings in the afternoon heat when temperatures in many parts of Tamil Nadu this month has been above normal, touching 40 degrees Celsius at several places.
