Dehradun: In an expected development in Uttarakhnad crisis, the matter was presented before a Supreme Court bench on Friday morning seeking a stay on the Uttarakhand High Court order.
Meanwhile, Governor KK Paul questioned Uttarakhand cabinet meet that took place on Friday. The meeting was convened by Harish Rawat who is under the public scanner.
Earlier, after the Uttarakhand High Court on Thursday had set aside the Centre's decision in March to place the state under President's Rule, Attorney General Mukul Rohatgi had said the Centre would challenge the order in the Supreme Court.

In March, Centre declared that it would govern Uttarakhand through Governor KK Paul. The decision came just one day before Harish Rawat was scheduled to prove his majority in the legislature.
