Jayalalithaa to file nomination papers

Chennai: Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J. Jayalalithaa left a short while ago from her Poes Garden residence to file her nomination papers for the seat from which she will contesting the Tamil Nadu state assembly elections on May 16.
Jayalaithaa is contesting the elections from the Dr. Radha Krishnan Nagar constituency at Tondiarpet.

The last day for the filing of nominations is April 29. The nominations would be scrutinised on April 30.
Candidates can withdraw their nominations by May 2.
