Mumbai: In a recent development in the Pratyusha suicide case, the Bombay High Court on Monday granted interim bail to the producer-actor Rahul Raj Singh. He has been booked under the abetment and assault charges after TV starlet Pratusha Banerjee committed suicide.
Earlier, Pratusha’s parents had opposed the bail and protested outside the High Court.
On April 1, Pratyusha, who shot to fame for her role as Anandi in the serial 'Balika Vadhu', allegedly committed suicide by hanging herself inside her flat in suburban Goregaon, Mumbai.
