Odisha: The Odisha Board of Secondary Education on Tuesday announced that the results of their annual High School Certificate (HSC) examinations will be declared on April 27.
Board president D P Nanda confirmed that Odisha’s mass education minister Debi Prasad Mishra and department secretary Ranjana Chopra would be present at the office of the BSE in Cuttack when the results are declared.
The results will be available on two websites – http://www.bseodisha.nic.in and http://www.indiaresult.com at 10 am on Wednesday.
The students will also have the facility to check their results by way of SMS. The students who appeared in the exams can type <ORI10> space <Roll Number> and send it to 58888.
At least 6,01,348 students appeared for the HSC examinations held at 2,882 centres across the state from February 22 to March 4. As many as 16,000 teachers participated in the evaluation of answer sheets.
The Council of Higher Secondary Education (CHSE) also announced that results for the Plus II Science examination would be published in the second week of May.
CHSE chairman Basudev Chhatoi said the results would hopefully be published before the stipulated time in order to facilitate the students to participate in national level entrance tests and to take admission in engineering and medical streams.
