Mumbai: Salman Khan has received support from an unlikely quarter — from none other than actor Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. Ex-lover Aishwarya Rai thinks it’s unfair criticism for the actor for having been selected the goodwill ambassador for the Rio Olympics 2016.
Aishwarya Rai Bachchan said on Tuesday, “It’s good that someone is supporting Arts and Sports. It is always good to back sports.”

But ex-flame Katrina had a totally different take on the issue. Speaking at the wrap-up party of her upcoming film ‘Baar Baar Dekho’ on Tuesday, actress Katrina Kaif said, Salman Khan courting controversy was not a new thing.
Earlier on Monday, veteran Bollywood actress and BJP MP Hema Malini had extended her support to actor Salman Khan for being made the goodwill ambassador of the Indian contingent for the 2016 Summer Olympic to be held in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
