Protest over farmer’s suicide at AAP rally

NEW DELHI: Amid a massive row over the farmer’s suicide during the rally organized by the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) at the Jantar Mantar on Wednesday, the Parliament has now taken over the issue.

In the midst of a massive blame game over the matter, Congress leader Mallikarjun Kharge alleged that the politicians and police were mere onlookers to the matter.

On the other hand, Minister of Urban Development of India and Bharatiya Janata Party’s prominent leader Venkaiah Naidu with folded hands requested to not politicize the farmer’s suicide issue in the Parliament.

It is a serious issue and should not be politicized, says Venkaiah Naidu in Lok Sabha.

Agreeing for a discussion on the matter, Speaker Sumitra Mahajan disallowed the suspension of the the question hour. “Will allow the discussion on the farmer’s suicide on Wednesday at 12 noon. Till then, Home Minister will also be in the House and will give a chance to everyone who wants to speak,” she said.
