North East girl racially abused in Bengaluru

Bengaluru: A girl hailing from the north east side of the country was allegedly racially abused by an auto driver on Thursday in Bengaluru, after the two got into an argument over the fare.

An auto-driver was booked for racially abusing the girl. 

The auto driver demanded double fare, to which the victim and her friend objected. During the heated exchange of words, the auto driver used racially offensive words on the victim.

According to reports, the victim said that none of the bystanders came forward to help her.

The victim has filed an FIR at the Koramangla Police station. 

Earlier as well, in February, a Tanzanian woman was allegedly stripped and beaten up on the streets of Bengaluru after a road accident.
