New Delhi: In an unfortunate event that took place on Sunday night, eight coaches of Delhi-Faizabad Express (14206) derailed near Garhmukteshwar in Hapur.

As per initial reports, the accident occurred at around 9 pm on Sunday. Several passengers have been injured but no casualties have been reported so far.

“Traffic on both up and down line on Delhi-Moradabad section has been affected,” said Anil Saxena, ADG Railway.

 

 

 

General Manager of the Northern Railway AK Puthia and officers from the Moradabad division has already left for the accident site. Also, action relief train and medical equipment has been dispatched for the spot.
