New Delhi: A slew of anecdotes rocked the Parliament on Tuesday. Eminent BJP leader Venkaiah Naidu took the floor early and pulled up the Opposition on the AugustaWestland issue. In another major development, Parliament decided to discuss the drought issue in the country on May 06.

In the latter half of the day, the Lok Sabha was adjourned and the Parliament Ethics Committee huddled over several crucial issues. The Real Estate Bill was also discussed in length. The Compensatory Afforestation Fund Bill discussion highlighted several key issues, TMC leader Saugata Roy asked for sustainable development in this sector.

Finance Minister Arun Jaitley also made headlines with his reply over the Italian marines case when he said that India has jurisdiction in the case.
