Sakshi Maharaj, who is always surrounded by controversies due to his pointed remarks, is once again in the news due to his statement on population control. On Tuesday, Sakshi was quoted saying that irrespective of religion, one should adhere to the norm of two-children per family.

Months ago, Sakshi Maharaj said that in order to save their religion every woman should bear at least four children. But now, his take on the same seems to have changed with his recent view of two-children per family.

Sakshi Maharaj expressed his concern over the growing population of the country and thought that by restricting the number of children to two per family should control the population explosion.

He is also going to present a private member’s bill in Parliament regarding the same and also opined that a law preventing people from having more than two children should also be passed.
