Thiruvananthapuram: Amidst the outrage that triggered in the state of Kerala following the brutal rape and murder of the Law student in Perumbavoor, another alleged gang-rape has been reported in the state.
As per police sources, a 19-year-old girl from Thiruvananthapuram was raped in a moving auto by an auto driver and two others on Monday.
The incident took place on Monday near Ayanthi Bridge in Varkala. The 19-year-old victim is a BSC nursing student who had gone to a neighbouring district in an auto rickshaw driver, who was known to her, in his vehicle.
Two of his friends also got into the vehicle later. They then took the auto rickshaw to a deserted spot and allegedly raped her.

According to her statement given to police, the girl knew the auto driver. A rape case has been registered against the accused.
After the girl was found by some people she was rushed to the Thiruvananthapuram Medical College Hospital where is admitted now.
