The Rajya Sabha on Thursday witnessed uproar after fiery exchanges between the Congress and the BJP.

New DelhiThe Lok Sabha passed the Finance Bill 2016 on Thursday. The Bill was passed after Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley moved as many as 45 amendments regarding the FInance Bill 2016. The Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code 2016, a special discussion on situation arising out of drought and drinking water crisis in many States and the need to consider interlinking of rivers and water resource management for sustainable solution to mitigate the crisis were also discussed. 

Congress leader Gaurav Gogoi, during the discussion, raised some pertinent points and said that bad investment and bad business planning must be corked immediately. “We don’t want any more Vijay Mallyas in the country,” he added.
