Chennai: Jayalalithaa's rally in Thanjavur on Sunday, ahead of Tamil Nadu assembly election, saw a huge turnout.
The number of women in the crowd that had gathered was clearly massive owing to the fact that Jaya's manifesto focuses on women's welfare.
In the meeting, the AIADMK supremo indirectly attacked the DMK leader TR Baalu and other members saying that the party tried to control the district in Tamil Nadu.

The build up to the Tamil Nadu elections is witnessing a multi-cornered contest especially between the DMK and the AIADMK. The crucial election in not going to be an easy cakewalk for any political party in the state as and no party is leaving any stone unturned.
There are five political fronts vying for power in the May 16 assembly election. The DMDK, led by Vijayakanth is yet to reveal its strategy.
