Mumbai: Hamid N Ansari, a software engineer from Mumbai who went missing in Pakistan on 10 November, 2012, is reported to be alive and in custody of the Pakistan Army.
Hamid crossed over border for love. He was handed over to the Pakistan intelligence agencies. Hamid is in Pakistan jail for 3.5 years since he was picked from a Peshwar hotel in 2012.
Hamid was trying to save the Pakistani girl from getting married against her will.
The aged parents of then 27-year-old Hamid, a resident of Andheri West suburb of Mumbai, left no stone unturned trying to locate him.
Will he be the next Sarbjit or will India be able to get him back home in time?
