Man hangs himself in Delhi's high-security Vijay Chowk

New Delhi: A man committed suicide by hanging himself from a tree at the iconic Vijay Chowk in New Delhi late Wednesday night. The cops were informed about the incident at 7 am on Thursday after which the victim was rushed to RML hospital for examination.
The victim, Ram Dayal Verma aged 39, was a resident of Shivpuri, Madhya Pradesh and was working in Delhi. The cause of suicide is unknown so far. 

The police have recovered a 30-page suicide note from the site of the incident and authorities are investigating the matter. The family of the victim has been contacted.
Recently, another case of suicide was reported from Gurgaon where a CRPF jawan hung himself from a ceiling fan in his hostel room at the paramilitary force's training centre.
