Saritha says, more digital proof will be produced before the panel

Thiruvananthapuram: Key accused in the solar scam Saritha Nair has threatened to submit the most damning evidence yet against Kerala Chief Minister Oommen Chandy. She said more digital proof will be produced before the panel on May 13.

According to Nair, two pen drives and other documents were handed over to the commission on Wednesday. The evidence also included a controversial letter, a three-hour long audio clipping of the telephonic conversation between the Chandy and a prominent businessman.

According to reports, it was revealed that the second pen drive had details pertaining to Chandy’s role in the solar scam.

Saritha dismissed Chandy’s claim that he has no connection with her and the scam. However, Chandy said that the charge against him is a move to defame him.

Earlier, Chandy had filed a criminal defamation case against Saritha and four journalists of two news channels, complaining that they had hatched a conspiracy to defame him by airing the news item.

Over 30 cases of cheating against Nair and Radhakrishnan are registered in various courts. They were charged of cheating investors of over Rs 6 crore.
