New Delhi: Addressing the subject of the charge sheet filed by the National Investigation Agency (NIA) on Friday declaring Sadhvi Pragya Singh Thakur and five other accused inculpable, Congress member Gaurav Gogoi said that NIA had now become an investigative agency run by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Demanding a Supreme Court probe of the 2008 Malegaon blast case, Gaurav Gogoi said, "Since the entry of this government, it seems ordained."
"There shouldn't be any dilution of investigation in the Malegaon case," said the Assam legislator, who said that the NIA was weakening and that every proceeding in the investigation seems premeditated.
"NIA has now become a NaMo investigation. We don't want any softening," said Gogoi.
