Outraged PMK candidate throws currency notes at EC observer

Ulundurpettai: In an attempt to break the nerve on money distribution to lure voters before polls, PMK candidate Balu from Ulundurpettai was seen ‘throwing’ currency notes on an EC observer.
The PMK candidate was upset that despite complaints about money distribution no action has been taken by the EC.
Balu questioned the EC observer as to why no action had been taken so far. He alleged that EC had not done enough.
Amidst the polls in Tamil Nadu, corers of money have been seized in Tamil Nadu.
On Saturday, the Election Commission had directed that polls in Aravakurichi Constituency of Tamil Nadu would take place on May 23 instead of the scheduled poll date of May 16.
The Election Commission while on a routine check had reportedly seized Rs 570 crore from three containers in Tamil Nadu on Saturday, two days ahead of the assembly polls in the state.
