West Bengal: A rejuvenated Trinamool Congress (TMC), under its Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee who has ruled the roost from 2011, after garnering a landslide victory in the state of West Bengal on Thursday, had too much of an excessive celebration which soon gained a violent streak.
Workers of TMC in Asansol, in a fit of excessive celebration, allegedly vandalised Communist Party of India (CPI-M) offices and set properties on fire.

Carrying sticks and gasoline, the supporters broke into CPI(M) offices and destroyed several amenities inside.
As per current poll reports, the TMC is leading by a landslide margin of 212 out of 294 assembly seats.
