New Delhi: Amit Shah, President of Bharatiya Janta Party (BJP) on Thursday attended a press conference and shared his reactions to the trends of the Assembly polls in the states of Assam, West Bengal, Tamil Nadu, Kerala and U.T. Puducherry.
The BJP president said, “BJP has performed well in all five states. I thank the people of all states for their support.”
“Today, the country has moved two steps forward, giving impetus to our campaign Congress mukht Bharat", Shah said.
“In Kerala, BJP's vote share has increased from 6% to nearly 15%. In Puducherry & Tamil Nadu, we have maintained our vote share,” shared the BJP president.
“Like Assam's victory is important in many ways, given that it is a border state, the Govt is committed to the development of the state,” he added.
Amit Shah also added, “Result shows that people who are trying to disrupt Parliament and politicise issues (Cong) have been shown doors by voters.”
