Patna: Rajesh Singh, a journalist with a daily, on Thursday, lodged an FIR at the Laheri police station against a Janta Dal United (JD-U) MLC Heer Prasad Bind and four others, after receiving death threats.

The journo alleged that four Bind supporters entered his office at Biharsharif and threatened to kill him. It was only six days ago when Siwan journalist Rajdeo Ranjan's was murdered.

They wanted him to apologise to the lawmaker and contradict the report published about the MLC.

Nalanda Superintendent of Police confirmed that an FIR had been lodged against Bind and four others and assured that anyone found involved in the crime would not be spared.

Bind is yet to make any comment on the matter.
