Bengaluru: A shocking incident took place in Bengaluru on Thursday, when a 6-year-old girl was hospitalised after being chased and attacked by a pack of more than 10 stray dogs.
The girl, recognised as Ramya was reportedly playing outside her house with her friend when the pack of dogs attacked her. Ramya suffered injuries on her face, hands and legs.
The neighbours rushed to help chase away the dogs and rushed her to a private hospital. She was given first aid and later referred to the Kempegowda Institute of Medical Sciences here. She has been admitted there and is said to be undergoing treatment.
Meanwhile, the local residents of Anjana Nagar are protesting against officials of the Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) for not visiting the spot and not solving the stray dog menace despite repeated complaints.
Her condition is stable now.
